Best Conversion Guide (pt.2)
The last post was solely dedicated to commonly used writing structures in marketing. In this post, we’ll discuss a few more tips to help you increase conversions— whether it be, clicks, shares, downloads, or sales.
It’s no secret that we, as a society, tend to share our experiences with others, mostly great and terrible ones. Mid experiences aren’t shared as often given that they are easily forgotten. You must ensure that your content, product, or service, is an experience people are dying to share with others in their circle. To do this, you must make an amazing impression on your audience. Get the results you want using these tips.
Create High-quality Content
Be innovative. Making high-quality content doesn’t have to cost you a kidney. Innovation doesn’t require tons of money, it simply requires good imagination, a creative mindset, and a willingness to do your best with what you’ve got. I’m sure you’ve seen plenty of influencers who rose to their status by creating silly relatable content. Most of them have started businesses that make them hundreds of thousands in profits thanks to their audience’s support.
However, the kind of content you make DOES depend on who your intended audience is. If your intended audience is a more sophisticated bougie demographic, your content will require a bigger investment. It’ll have to meet different criteria.
Improve User Experience
Easy access, precise directions, and clear messaging are mandatory to effectively get your audience from point A to point B. You know that feeling you get when you’re trying to purchase a product/service, and the checkout process is more than two steps, asks too many questions, and takes forever to load? That feeling is frustration. You get frustrated and then you give up trying to make the purchase. This is what you want to avoid in your business. You must facilitate navigation, reduce redundancy, study feedback, and provide solutions for complaints.
Leverage Social Proof
The power of reviews is something we all witness and are swayed by. Most of us, do research before making a purchase, we’ll look at different sellers, and brands, and compare their reviews. Then, we’ll weigh our options and make the decision we’re most comfortable with. Therefore, you want to feature great reviews your customers leave you. Every chance you get, showcase the good things others are saying about you, this will act as a gentle pat on the shoulder of the new prospect, letting them know that it’s safe to buy your product or service, that others have done before them and have left satisfied.
Testing and Iteration
As with anything in marketing, you will conduct frequent testing, noting what works, what can be improved, and what can be upgraded. The market is constantly changing, so you must stay on top of trends, and be ready to implement new techniques to your marketing repertoire.
